Conner’s Pheasant Prairie is a family-owned hunting preserve founded in 2019 by Seth and Diana Conner. With over 30 years of farming experience, the Conners have long been dedicated to regenerative agriculture, utilizing cover crops and no-till practices to improve their land. Their passion for both sustainable farming and the outdoors came together to create the Pheasant Prairie — a place where hunters of all ages can enjoy a truly unique upland bird experience. We offer both guided and self-guided upland hunts across fields thoughtfully planted in 25-foot strips of milo, pearl millet, and sunflowers, with soybean stubble between strips for easier walking. Our habitat design makes the fields accessible for hunters of all ages and physical abilities. Along with released pheasants and chukars set at the start of each hunt, the property also supports a healthy population of wild quail, adding to the excitement of every outing.
Seth has lived on this farm since he was a child. In his free time, he enjoys riding horses and roping, hunting his GSP, floating on the river, and talking endlessly about farming and cover crops. Seth is a real family man who has a lot of passion for what he does. Diana farms full-time with Seth and keeps the books for the farm and Pheasant Prairie. In her spare time, she enjoys floating on the river, traveling, fishing, and watching her family's rodeo adventures.
Clayton and Bailey help run day to day operations and Bailey manages all web media and technology used in the business. The duo works full-time in crop insurance and manages their own seed sales business. They enjoy spending time with their daughter, riding their horses, rodeoing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Bailey is Seth and Diana’s oldest daughter.
Shea helps with all farm chores and helps set birds on the weekends. Shea works full-time for the Farm Service Agency and loves every minute of it. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her horses, roping, cheering for MIZZOU, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Shea is Seth and Diana’s youngest daughter.
Clay Denny runs Whoa Nelly's Kennel in Odessa, Missouri with his wife Liz. Their German Shorthaired Pointers are some of the greatest hunters out there. Clay has been the youth outreach coordinator for the Heartland chapter of Pheasants Forever for several years, and he's guided dozens of hunts for first-time hunters. His concern for safety is the top priority in the field. You're guaranteed to have a great time hunting with Clay and his dogs
Cole McAdams is a father of three and has a beautiful wife named Josie. Cole has three German Shorthair Pointers named Ruger, Kimber, and Browning. He is the Director of Facilities at NCMC in Trenton, Missouri. He enjoys serving the Lord through various ministries, spending time with his family, and hunting with his dogs.
Kinser's passion for hunting and the outdoors, from the field to creating memories, never stops. He is a guide for us (Connor's Pheasant Prairie), runs his own guiding and habitat management service for whitetail, waterfowl, and turkeys at Wildman Outfitters LLC, and creates everlasting memories through his video creation and storytelling.
Hayden Richardson grew up hunting quail on his family farm in southern Illinois. After serving in the Marine Corps he moved to Odessa, Missouri with his wife Leia. During the week he works full time at K.C. Bobcat. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife and dogs.
