Hunt the rolling fields of Conner’s Pheasant Prairie, where carefully managed cover crops—sunflowers, soybeans, clover, millet, and more—set the stage for world-class wingshooting. Whether you’re chasing pheasants at first light or watching coveys of chukars flush in the afternoon, our manicured hunting strips deliver consistent action and unforgettable memories.

All hunts are self-guided by default, giving you and your group full control of your upland experience. For those who want additional support, you can add on professional local guides and trained bird dogs. Guides are independent professionals who know the land well, and they bring seasoned dogs to help locate, flush, and retrieve birds for your party.

From day hunts with lodging to all-inclusive multi-day packages, Conner’s Pheasant Prairie combines the tradition of upland hunting with comfort and hospitality.

Self-Guided Hunt with Lodging | $175 per person

• Check-in at 3 PM (day prior to hunt)
• One night of private lodging (sleeps up to 8, single-party use)
• Self-guided upland hunt: choice of 4 pheasants OR 6 chukars
• Select your preferred hunt time: Morning or Afternoon

Self-Guided Hunt with Lodging & Meals | $200 per person

• Check-in at 3 PM (day prior to hunt)
• Dinner and breakfast served at the lodge
• One night of private lodging (sleeps up to 8, exclusive to your group)
• Self-guided upland hunt: choice of 4 pheasants OR 6 chukars
• Select your preferred hunt time: Morning or Afternoon

3-Day / 5-Hunt All-Inclusive Package | $850 per person

• Check-in at 3 PM (day prior to first hunt)
• Three nights of lodging (private bunkhouse, max 8 guests per group)
• Breakfast and dinner provided daily
• Five self-guided upland hunts:
• Day 1 AM: 4 pheasants
• Day 1 PM: 6 chukars
• Day 2 AM: 6 chukars
• Day 2 PM: 4 pheasants
• Day 3 AM: 2 Pheasants & 3 Chukar
• Check-out at 12 PM on departure day

Add-Ons

Professional Guide & Dogs

• $150 per hunt (half-day) per group of up to 4 hunters
• Groups larger than 4 require an additional guide and dog team (e.g., 6 hunters = 2 guides, 8 hunters = 2 guides, etc.)
• All hunts are self-guided by default. This add-on provides a professional local guide with well-trained dogs to assist with locating, flushing, and retrieving birds.
• Guides are independent third-party professionals and are not employees of Conner’s Pheasant Prairie.
• Payment is made directly to the guide in cash at the hunt.

Extra Birds (Mix & Match)

• Pheasants – $30 each
• Chukars – $20 each

Meals

• Additional meals available by request – $25 per person (breakfast or supper)

Hunting Permits

• Missouri Residents: Must hold a valid Small Game Hunting Permit (available through MDC or the MO Hunting app).
• Non-Residents: A 3-day preserve permit can be purchased directly at Conner’s Pheasant Prairie upon arrival.
